July 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 & 17, 2010
Grand vistas, wildlife and solitude are the hallmarks of
this 7 day trek. We will follow Little Granite Creek to a section of the
Highline Trail that sees very little summer use, passing beneath Pinnacle Peak
and Gros Peak before we cross the divide by Cache Peak into Flat Creek. One
more pass and we arrive at the headwaters of Granite Creek. After taking a lay
day to explore this high country we will follow Granite Creek to the trailhead
and a well deserved soak in the hot springs.

July 21,
22, 23, 24, 25 & 26 , 2010 Price: $895.00 per person, 12 and under
½ price
This 6 day loop is for the more adventuresome and revolves
around Hoback Peak. Although not extremely difficult we do follow obscure and
sometimes exciting trails to access the high country. Hoback Peak offers top of
the world views. The mountain ranges of western Wyoming and northern Utah form
a 360 degree panorama. After climbing, or just admiring Hoback Peak, we
traverse the Little Greys to Cliff Creek Pass. We then follow Cliff Creek down
passing the falls to the Cliff Creek Trailhead. As on all our trips to the Gros
Ventre and Wyoming Range the common thread is: grand vistas, wildlife and
solitue.
Shoal Creek to Swift
Creek - TRIP FULL
July 30th 31, Aug. 1, 2, 3 & 4, 2010,
Price: $895.00 per
person, 12 and under ½ price
This 6 day trek makes a loop through some of the most
spectacular country in the Gros Ventre wilderness (or anywhere for that
matter). We will lead our llamas up Shoal Creek camping by Shoal Falls the
first night, then continue up Shoal Creek with a lay day near Shoal Lake
(seldom fished & great fishing). Then over the pass into the head waters of
the Gros Ventre River across the head of Crystal Creek and into the Swift Creek
drainage. We follow Swift creek all the way down to Granite Creek with Granite
Hot Springs beckoning for a good soak.
This is a moderately strenuous trip with some steep sections of trail (Forest Service rated not suitable for livestock, but with a little care, possible for our llamas). The rewards are well worth the effort on this seldom traveled route, breathtaking scenery, solitude and abundant wildlife. We will travel at a pace that will allow full enjoyment of the country we are passing through. (gasping for breath not allowed)

Aug. 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 & 14, 2010
Trout fishing is the main theme of this llama expedition.
The variety of water we will visit on our trek through the Middle and South
Forks of Boulder Creek offers great opportunities for fly fishing or spin
casting no mater the level of your experience, beginner or expert. Rainbow,
Brookies, Macs and Cutts populate both the lakes and streams of this scenic
alpine country.

Wind River Mountains : Big Sandy-East Fork
Aug. 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 & 23, 2010
Price: $995.00 per person, 12 and under ˝ price
This trek offers a tremendous variety of scenery and fishing for the distance of hiking involved. Departing the Big Sandy Trailhead we are headed to the back side of the Cirque of Towers, Shadow and Billy’s Lake where we will take a lay day. There is an opportunity for a great side hike to Texas Lake and Texas Pass, fishing in Washakie Creek, Shadow Lake and Billy’s Lake or just relaxing around camp. Then we trek to Mae’s Lake for another lay day with the opportunity for a spectacular day hike, looping past Pyramid Lake for a “shock and awe” view of Ambush Peak and dropping into the East Fork Valley and back to camp at Mae’s Lake.
Wind River Mountains - Elkhart Park to Cook Lakes
Sept 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 2010
Price: $825 per person, 12 and under ½ price
This is our favorite time of the year to be in the mountains; Labor Day has come and gone along with the mosquitoes and most everyone else. The Elk are bugling and the trout are active. We will make a 5 day semi-loop departing the Elkhart Park trailhead headed to the Cook Lakes with an overnight along the way. From there a night of alpine camping near Tommy’s and Nelson lakes, and then up and over Lester pass, hiking along gorgeous Seneca lake to our last night camp with a few more opportunities to catch Golden trout. The last day we pick up the trail where we left it at Eklund Lake and head back to Elkhart Park. Great scenery and great fishing at each camp along the way.
