In order to make your trip as enjoyable as possible we
try to plan the menu around your personal tastes. All meals are served family
style so a consensus must be reached amongst your group. If there are special
needs we must discuss these in advance. To keep energy levels high and fight
off fatigue tromping the high country we plan meals and snacks high in
carbohydrates. We plan fresh meat for 3 or 4 nights depending on the expected
weather and then use canned and dried.
Breakfast: We will
have fresh eggs once or twice (generally in a breakfast burrito with bacon)
hash browns and corned beef alternating with cereal, oatmeal and toasted bagle
or English muffins, toppings of peanut butter, honey, fruit jam and cinnamon
toast.
Lunch: Is
highlighted with Chinese chicken salad once or twice, sandwiches (as long as
fresh bread lasts) various canned or dried foods, like tuna or salami with
crackers.
Dinner: Some of
our standard dinners .... spaghetti with meat sauce, ground beef tacos, chili
burgers, rib eye steak, thai sausage sauteed with vegetable served over rice
noodles, chicken with carrots and broccoli over quinoa, Teriyaki chicken over
rice. Many people will also enjoy a meal of fresh trout. Please take a few
