As you can tell our llamas are very special to us. In
order to insure their safety and your successful trek all first time renters
must have participated either in one of our guided trips (full service or pot
luck) or take our orientation class (1/2 day). Subjects covered will include
haltering, saddling, loading and balancing panniers, picketing, knots,
poisonous plants and navigating obstacles.
Rates: 2 llama minimum. Set up fee $50.00. Llama rent
$45.00 per day per llama. Orientation class $50.00 (up to 4 people).
Pick up and delivery: pavement, .40 per mile round trip.
Improved dirt .75 per mile round trip. Rough, wash board, un-improved 2.50 per
mile up round trip. NOTE: a road that may qualify as improved one time may have
deteriorated into something quite different next time.
We would be happy to deliver to one trailhead and pick up
at another, however you must be responsible for your own transportation.
NOTES: If you will be entering The Bridger
Wilderness with the llamas you will need a free permit, go to Pinedale Ranger District to print out your free
permit form.
FOOD STORAGE ORDER - large portions of Bridger-Teton are
now under a food storage order, including The Bridger Wilderness north of
